Chocolate Chia Custard

A delicious chocolate custard with the goodness of chia seeds. It’s also gluten free.


  • 60g rapadura sugar
  • 5g cornflour
  • 20g cacao powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 600g full cream milk
  • 2g vanilla extract
  • 30g chia seeds
  1. Place the sugar, cornflour, cacao, eggs, yolks, milk and vanilla in the thermal bowl. EXPERT / 10 minutes / speed 10 / 90 degrees / cap ON.
  2. Add chia seeds. EXPERT / 2 minutes / speed 10 / 0 degrees / cap ON.
  3. Allow to cool, store in the fridge.

  1. So ridiculously easy, delicious and thanks to egg, milk and chia; arguably more nutritious than a lot of chocolate desserts.
